THE CAMPSITE
A family run Mountain Farm Campsite in Snowdonia. The campsite is part of Hafod Lydan, a Traditional Hill Farm in Snowdonia, with an amazing view of the North west face of Snowdon and many of the surrounding mountains.
If you are looking for a basic, no frills campsite then this is the ideal base camp for Snowdon, an easy 20 minute walk from camp will find you quarter of the way up Snowdon, on the Llanberis path.

We are generally suitable for any respectful outdoor type, don't expect 5 star facilities or a clubhouse, we just provide basic campsite facilities, all the friendly help and advice we can manage, and easy access to Snowdon with a panoramic view!

The campsite is close to all village amenities; being only a half mile walk away.

Both the Llanberis route, which is the main route up Snowdon, and the Snowdon Ranger path can be accessed straight from the campsite.
THE FARM
The campsite is part of a traditional mountain farm; Hafod Lydan, which is in the Snowdonia National Park, mainly farming Welsh Mountain sheep, a few rare breed sheep and mixed breed beef cattle. We also have free range hens, pigs, and sometimes piglets to see.
The sheep graze on Moel Eilio, which can be walked straight from camp. If you would like to see them just ask. If you do feed or touch the animals make sure you wash your hands with soap and water afterwards. Thank you.
You are welcome to explore all around the upper farmland, including the lake, and the surrounding area.
